Weee.. I'm back again! Haha. I've got minimal of updates as of this week because I'm pretty busy with learning that musical piece that I got stuck in the intro. @_@

Oh, and yeah, I've been studying CSS codes and stuff.

And lastly, I've been trying to update my fan fiction.

Well, it's actually my first fan fiction. It's a Naruto one and I have few reviews for that, so I gotta plug it. Don't I? Hahaha!

It's been an awful while since I updated my blog and a lot has changed, I think. I'm actually enjoying (oh yeah) my summer vacation for almost a month now doing stuff that would improve me, but yet again, I think.

So how was I, you might ask? (Oh yeah, I'm just assuming that though)

I'm fine but I'm suffering from anime fever!
Lately, I've become a sudden otaku and most of my friends notice it. I think it's for the betterment. LOL. Why so? Because I'm gonna learn how to speak Japanese! Isn't that great? Plus, I'll be able to relate to my otaku best friends NAMELY: ohmeegod almost all of them except one. Ha, ha.

Anyway, I'm so up to (and craving for season two) Special A! Who won't even love Kei Takishima?! He's just so perfect. ♥♥

When people talk to me all I ever say is that "Isn't Kei so handsome?" even to my mother.

I know I'm weird, you need not say that.

Today, my sis and I went to a Sari-sari store (non-filipinos TL: It's a mini-store usually located near the owner's house where you can buy anything. From the term 'sari-sari' which means technically a mix-up of several things) to buy some body soap and cookies.

The conversation was between my elder sis and I, the girl vendor and a guy who's apparently her help. (I guess)

*NOTE THAT IT'S IN FILIPINO, SORRY BUT I DON'T THINK THE HUMOR WILL BE APPRECIATED IN ENGLISH. XD*

ME: Pabili nga po.
G.VENDOR: Ano yun?
ME: Sabon po.
G. VENDOR: Anong klase?

Also today, my father hacked some pc games (oh yeah he's getting better on hacking. >:) ) including my sister's most craved for GTA 3 - Liberty City. It's kinda fun AND violent and frankly speaking for a violent girl myself, I like it. And so I'm kinda playing it now. Bye bye online games for a while and hello to GTA 3.

They're just calling out to me...the guns and everything. ♥♥♥

Unlike the past 2 days and a half 'vacation', I spent today not in front of the pc (well, almost, because I only aimed to do a post here and finish neopets' last day GMC)!

Ha! You might ask what the hell I did today, right?
WeeEeeEllLllL, I watched the dvd I bought from last year. It was a compilation of Filipino DVDs. I chose two random movies to ease my boredom as I eat my breakfast at 9am.

I watched "Close To You" starring Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz (special participation of Sam Milby).

I found it cute. >.<
So everyone can actually conclude that they are my favorite love team.

Anyway, I think I ain't ready for school yet tomorrow. Teacher's Day is coming and there will be NO teachers attending our classes tomorrow (Really, from 7am-5pm!) AND student (literally from the school per se) teachers will take over!

We have two representatives for our class both selected by our beloved adviser (drumroll please), Ms. Mellisa Ramos. Ah, they are the twins, Daljit and Patrick BTW. (Peace out. ^.~)

Oh well, it's almost 11pm now and I feel a bit of drowsy since I haven't slept today.

OK, so I won't lie. I spent almost 18hours today in front of the computer. It's a way of easing boredom and discovering new things~ :p

I was very busy this week with all the schoolworks and stuff..but it's Friday today plus we don't have classes on Mondayyy...

Yeah, but that doesn't mean I ain't busy anymore.
"Educational Trip", also known as "Field Trip" is about to come; plus the "Teacher's Day"; plus the role playing in History; plus...pluss...plusss...

OK, so that was just my excuse for not updating my manga this week! This week was used for practicing my skills (if ever I DO have) during the subjects where I take too easy and vice-versa (Yea, I lose interest when the subject's too hard).

I'm really, really sorry for my fans! LOLLLLLL!!! Anyway, for the next generation fans (probably with eye-defect) click this image below to go to my manga ('cause I still need more and more and more visitors).

When I get annoyed at my drawings in papers, I switch to MS Paint in the PC. (Because I consider it OK if I draw bad, anyway it's MS Paint and I only use mouse.)

Before I forget, Ma'am Kay asked us to do a mini-journal for 5 days(which starts today until December 2nd). Hence, I chose this humble blog mine as its location.

Today was a very unfortunate day.

3 MOST UNFORTUNATE THINGS THAT HAPPENED TO OJOU-SAMA* (Lol, leather-face. xD)
1. I fell at the stairs in the other building while going to the CommArts Department.
2. I ripped the sleeve off my uniform accidentally while taking the stairs near the Math-Sci Department. (Geez, there was a jinx near the faculties today @_@)
3.I forgot my Geometry book at home which contains my Unit Test in that subject so I had no choice but to repeat it ALL again. (Note: Repeat and again were redundancy purposely done by me. xP)

*TL: Ojou-sama is a term for Princess in Japanese Language.

Therefore, I conclude that this was an unfortunate day.

...But (there's always a 'but', isn't there?)

In every bad thing that happens, God makes sure that you experience good things.

3 THINGS THAT MADE OJOU-DEAREST HAPPY TODAY
1.I was able to pass all the loads of seatworks today.
2. I learned how to convert .fla file into .gif in Macromedia Flash! (So happy..teehee)
3. TGIF! 3-day weekend!

In conclusion, if bad things happen, brighten up, for it only means that you're gonna experience happy moments as well. :p

I was really disappointed because neopets is back to 3x maximum playing for every game. (Although, Mays-chan gave me two new trophies for my cabinet) And so I drew, not in paper, but in MS Paint. Zomg. Forgive me for not being good in coloring, sketching and stuff. But what can I do? I was bored... and I wanna share it to you. xD

Setsuko, an aspiring artist meets again the one who taught her draw, Momoko after two years of just internet-communication. All they thought that it was just a mere coincidence but it was so much more than that--their siblings are getting married(Momoko's bro and Setsuko's sis)! And this means one more thing, they are now proclaimed 'nee-chans' living under the same roof.

Arriving to a new school for their senior high, they meet several people that will spice up their stories.

Irie Ryuu, the rumored genius of the academy, is a silent, good-looking, cold-hearted man, or at least that was what everybody believed, was met by the newly-known 'nee-chans' through a spelling quiz bee where Setsuko was in.

Knowing that Ryuu was the typical intelligent, silent and mysterious man Setsuko dreamed like forever, she had an instant crush on him and had doubts of whether telling him or not.

Meanwhile, Momoko, having no interests in boys at all, meets this athlete guy from class B named Saito Daichi. He was the usual knowing-nothing but sports, sports and sports and was Momoko's PE classmate (Momoko hates sports like hell). Both started with cold treatment with each other knowing that they had the opposite interests which was also the reason why Setsuko insists on getting them together. This was where Dai-chan realized his feelings for Momoko and started to aim for her. On the other hand, Momoko was on her same childish, cold self, kept ignoring Saito's feelings. Hence, Setsuko won't allow this, she supports Dai-chan and keeps insisting for her mission: get 'em together and at the same time tell her feelings for Irie-kun.

So honestly how many of us have missent a message or even miscalled someone? I honestly experienced this and I was pretty embarrassed myself. Anyway, here's the "cute" short story (as I say it is) given by the person mentioned above...

The Phonecall

A girl quickly punches a number into her phone and waits until she hears the other line pick up.

“Becky, I don’t know what to do, I really don’t. I love him so much and I don’t think he thinks of me that way. I mean, whenever I see him or think of him, I can’t help it, this smile comes across my face. Sometimes he sees me smiling and smiles back. That’s when my knees turn to jello and I get butterflies in my stomach. I know you think that he’s is so totally adorable and cute, but if you look past that and actually listen to what he has to say, you find a totally different person. He’s so caring and considerate and he makes me feel like I don’t deserve him. Well, actually, I don’t deserve him. He’s too perfect, I mean, look at all the girls that fall over for him.
I could never be one of those. Their all so pretty and bubbly and….. not me. I couldn’t even start to compare myself to them. But whenever I think of him or see him, I can’t help it, I smile. Now I didn’t tell you this but he called me the other day about homework. I tell you now, I made a complete fool of myself. I’m so embarrassed. I stuttered the whole time, but he was so sweet and just kept talking and making me feel better. Yey! It's the 31st today--meaning, it's Halloween!
I honestly thought that Halloween was yesterday and I celebrated it with the chocolate cake bought by my mom. o.o

Anyway, let's celebrate! It's like Christmas for the morbids (like me -.-). Ha, ha. Oh well, I'm gonna spend it by eating more chocolate cake (yum) and do AMV and stuff... Oh, and watch Itazura na Kiss! It's a very good anime. It was also done in taiwanovelas also known as "It Started With A Kiss" wherein my Joe Cheng starred. ♥.♥

It's 11:09 pm now, and this is 2nd quarter exam week but whatever. I've got a lot of follow ups and stories yet to unfold here though I have not enough time. I should be reviewing right now, shouldn't I? However, there's just something bothering me. Something YET to be UNFOLD.

And I feel like I've been saying that for a couple of times now.

I'm gonna be updating you about my recent (well, actually our) pets. I think my dear Sakura is pregnant. Coolness.

Also, my BPP (Business Partner Poreber) and I are planning to buy hamster and hamster stuff on Friday.

And I think I feel like watching HSM 3~ Gaah, really craving for it. x[

Lastly, my childhood dream is yet to be fulfilled! Mum finally let me HAVE my OWN Doggie!!!

I thought it just started. Hu hu hu...

Anyway, since Math-Sci's done already, no more IP-ic problems!!! Yey me!
Mind you, I really enjoy the two and a half day idleness... in my haven!

Speaking of my haven (which is my room) I actually plan to paint it black and violet this Christmas, but my sister wants it (since we share room) to be orange, yellow and green! AIYA!!! Too bright! Not good for my eyes... And she says I'm trying to imitate SUNAKO NAKAHARA from Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge. Right... not because I wanted skulls and pictures of Freddy Krueger stuff in our room means I'm imitating Sunako.. (though I really think Sunako is cool, and some people in my class call me that, aiya, and even from the neighborhood!) Black is cool. Morbidity is cool. Sunako is cool.

That's why I'm dying to finish the manga! I'm currently in chapter 32~! <--keeps on repeating that merrily. AND I STARTED READING IT LAST FRIDAY(Geez, so proud of that). Actually, that's what I did this weekend. Aiya, I remembered I need to study in my Algebra quiz tomorrow, and speech too, and finish my report in History! Yayyyy!!!

Oh, and before I forget, Mays-sama is in for Sunako, too.. so I easily asked her (this time, I didn't beg, really!) to make me a SUNAKO AVIE!!! (Though she insists that she can't make a good one because she doesn't have a good software for making avies..)

Damn busy. Math-sci week is approaching, that's why. We are now readying for the IP, quiz bee elimination rounds, and some other works that need to be done.

However, we still need to be well-rounded in other academic subjects such as in CommArts and MAKABAYAN Departments. Uh, and we're gonna have a play tomorrow in English!

Yay me. I'm the script-looker (yea, since I wasn't brave enough to use my very own play) and the "director". Well, part time props maker, too.

Yea. SO the first quarter is done, and I can't do like "UCHURAGGEU" again~! I need to get serious in terms of studying. My elder sis told me that I should maintain my grades from 1st to 3rd year to get a higher chance of entering UP. ^___^

I don't care to go on top as long as I have 9's again. Concluding that in SJC, their ceiling grade stands the limit of 95. Urgh.. Plus, I wasn't happy with the result of this quarter's Periodical tests. v.v

Ima learn a lot this school year as promised. I PROMISE not to regret this year like what happened in the former. I don't want the things I cherish now to vanish in thin air again. I really don't.

It was 11:58am on the 28^th of March year 1995 when Mr. And Mrs. Francisco Yangyang had their 2^nd born after four hours of caesarian delivery in Sultan Qaboos University Hospital in Muscat, Oman.

That baby was I.

We stayed in Muscat, Oman not until I was five months old then the family set off to different places: Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam and finally landed in the Pearl of the Orient Seas—that which is our home.

From ages one to four, we had been transferring houses and finally found our final residence in Ivory Crest Village, Salitran II, Dasmariñas, Cavite.

My first grieving memory was the death of my first best friend, Pipay—a Lhasa Apso who became a very good companion.

As the daughter of two very protective parents, I wasn’t allowed to go outside and play with children of my age. But my parents gave me everything I want—from toys to clothes, name it.

This had actually become a pity when I was in my early days in grade school. Kids around me kept on asking me to join and play. But I can’t, because I do not know how.

However, this didn’t make me a total loser. I had friends and no one bullies me because they know I know how to fight.

A trait I inherited from my mother.

Speaking of inheritance, people say I got my father’s looks and my mother’s attitude. However, I do not know where my passion for languages, especially for English, came from.

Mummy excels in Science; Daddy in Math. And I still wonder why my elder sister and me got hooked with linguistic deeds.

I love to write short stories, essays and fictions because here, I can express who I am and who I want to be; live my life perfectly, like the way I imagined it to be.

Reading is another story. I love to read fictions, non-fictions, romance, religion and life books. It makes me explore my imagination, rejuvenate my soul and make me enlightened—and I love those feelings.

My favorite books are numerous but my top 2 faves are the Chinese Cinderella by Adeline Yen Mah and the Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot. Living despite of trials and tribulations and fulfilling your dreams are what these books imply.

I am living for 13 years now and I want to know more about things around me and self-introspect more.

I see myself as a person who can be a little touchy sometimes but generally happy. An optimistic but introvert; and an enthusiast but knows her limits. I believe that I am interdependent like everyone else and I value God, my family and friends the most.

I do a lot of self-introspection but I haven’t succeeded fully yet. All I know is that life goes on not always in your side but I believe that when bad things happen to you, it wasn’t meant to be just a burden but it gives us experiences. From these experiences, we can learn and be a lot stronger than what we used to be to strive and live in this world. With faith in God and self-confidence, I believe that anyone can overcome the challenges ahead.

Imagine the life of a thirteen year old student bounded in the four walls of the classroom from 7am to 5pm [MONDAYS-FRIDAYS].

Yea-uh. Know watcha thinkin'. -_-"

That's why I don't have time to make even a single blog post at home because all I do is write, eat, go OL[tho not gonna be for a very long time], study and sleep.

Watching Phineas and Ferb and Hannah Montana is considered my bonus while pigging out Chippy or Popperoo.

...When all I wanna do is finish high school and be in college! I wanna go to school in The University of the Philippines - Diliman or Manila and take up either Journalism or Political Science. :)

I said this because all my life I have been "secluded" in the normal world. See, almost all high school students in private schools are.

Imagine this: I went to a private sectorian, christian, international, and science schools but NEVER in a public school. [Wonder what its like, don't wanna try tho =/ LOLOOOL]

College Life, for me, is the beginning of learning what a real student really means. College people are like tadpoles beginning to swim and breathe in and out. I wanna feel how to struggle every monday mornings riding a bus, being happy for tres grades and not studying for the sake of getting perfect but for the sake of learning [o_O]... or shall I say passing?

Bah, just arrived in my thought right now because I thought of what will happen in the next three years.

I hope my life still continues despite my illness..♥

Mathematics 101

Hah. The achilles's foot of my student career. MATH. Yea.

In our school, we have two units of math. Being in sophomore year, we have Geometry and Intermediate Algebra.

Intermediate Algebra is our first subject. Very nice. I am enjoying each and every moment of it though I cannot promise to always get perfect grades. However, the point is, I am enjoying it and is very eager to improve as days pass by. :)

In fact, I have answered a problem without me knowing it. Sir Jay Lacalba (our teacher) gave us this problem:
(x^2 + x -y -y^2/3x^2-3y^2) x (7x^2+7xy^2/5x+5y+5)

MY SOLUTION:
Factor it out ofcourse -_-"
(x-y)(x+y+1)/3(x-y)(x+y) x 7xy(x+y)/5(x+y+1)

Then cancel the common factors...
~~(x-y)(x+y+1)~~/3~~(x-y)(x+y)~~ x 7xy~~(x+y)~~/5~~(x+y+1)~~

And Finally go to multiplication..
= 7xy/15

Sir Jay then asked me how I arrived to factor out the first term (x-y)(x+y+1). I answered, "I dunno, Sir" He said it was correct tho I haven't explained how I factored it =/.

In which I really didn't know how.
But that was a proud moment of mine =)

On the other hand, Geometry (our subject in this period of time) is driving me insane. Everyone is making their projects (polygons) while I am here, blogging. Damn. I still don't have the most concrete idea on how possible it is for me to pass it tomorrow.

The fact is, we were supposed to have three polygons : small(2in), medium(4in) and large(6in).. and I haven't even started on making one. *sighs*

Right, time to go now. 1minute before this period ends and I am up to studying for Arts.

Another number of great days passed..what has happened to me?

I still am Faith Anne L. Yangyang. With thoughts and day dreams as before. Dreams? Plans for the future? Well, I don't know if I still have.

Moving on is a not-that-easy process, there must be someone or something you can lean to. And in my case, I don't know if I have one.

It has been quite unusual for me not to fully adjust. For two consecutive years I have managed to transfer schools, be happy and adjust. And IDK what the hell is happening now.

I don't even know what is going on with me so no wonder.
I don't even know what to say now.

I think I may have been closing my mind and heart to adjust. I think I may have been thinking so much about the past that I cannot grasp the present. If this continues, what will happen with my future?

I have observed that I have not been even exerting effort in my studies now. I AM just pretending that I AM from my parents. Though...

-Algebra is not good (yea, i got the lessons but i AM careless as usual)
-Geometry is so not good (yea, i hated origami since birth!)
-Chemistry (cause my classmates are way too advanced from me)
-TLE (a subject in which students were supposed to learn livelihood techniques suddenly turned into learning orthographic designs)
-and others.

Despite of all these dilemmas, I do nothing but PLAY!

Yea, I exert effort more playing an online game. Isn't that weird?
Or it was just that I play this to forget my problems?

And I think it won't be too good if it continues.
So I am under hiatus now..in that game.
But I don't know how long will it take.
Yes, weekends will STILL be weekends.
But school is prioritized more.

Getting serious.
Today I had my first day of class and I got no words for it. I missed my former classmates and schoolmates so much <3. Though majority of the class, well if not all, had treated me fairly well enough.

Yesterday's Trip

Last February 14, interested SIS students and staff set off to a trip in SM Mall of Asia Discovery Center for their second didactic spree this year.

The coaster van left at approximately 6 o'clock in the morning, undeniably early due to traffic circumstances this heart season. Fortunately, avoided the heavy traffic and reached Metro Manila at eight.

I am really stunned by the atmosphere here, seemed like I'm inside a spaceship or what..

..As I was saying, it changes colors-- and one of those colors is my fave--VIOLET, therefore I tried to have a photo of it...

We also had a "picture taking" in the image booth, which shall be sent on our e-adds supposedly today via time capsule. I don't know what happened, it wasn't sent to mine...

I don't know what this place is exactly called but the atmosphere is like a planetarium with at first, oceanic atmosphere, its stairs are like in IMAX's, however it is not. This is where we watched a documentary which was documented by Harrison Ford.

I would have wanted to take better shots but camera is prohibited.. THOUGH. Hahahaha!!

After this short documentary, others went out of the SDC already to have their lunch while Iza, Me and Teacher Dan took companion...

They sure loved the games. Teacher Dan even scored the highest among all the players in one of those games. Congratulations to him! While I still continue to pass $175,000 in "Are You Smarter than a Fifth Grader?"... Lucky ducks....

We stayed there for an hour and a half more while my stomach rumbled.. They owed me lunch!

We had lunch at ChowKing in which I ordered Chicken laureate and Halo-Halo, now you can conclude I WAS HUNGRY...

After that, we went to Power Books and some sports stand and finally went to the main mall and separated our ways; Teacher Dan went to National Bookstore while Iza and I hunted for Tom's world, wherein I didn't enjoy...
We went out after spending 12 tokens and went outside and caught Mays and Nestlhyn on the way.
We went to Time Zone and checked for Karaoke stands: FULL; then proceeded to Power bla bla (Forgot the name, chacks!!) and checked for Karaoke stands: STILL FULL. Whatta fool...
However, we decided to share money to pay a VIP card so we can get to enjoy there and it was in Nestlhyn's name... and FACE!!!
At 4:53pm, the karaoke stand had been vacant but it was time to go..POOR US. BTW, we earned 25 tickets and eligible to redeem a TOY, a SMALL one... Really poor us...

We went to the meeting place and waited, and found entertainment in the small black post where you can let your peso spin until you see it no more. Ezra said that whomever invented that was probably a millionaire by now. Iza said we should lift it up.. there could be millions inside! Ha, ha. You'll never know...

And so we departed MOA at 5:30 something..
Majority fell dead(asleep, ha, ha) in the coaster.... *tantatantanan!!!*

Hamsters

We (Aaron and I) bought a pair of Syrian hamsters last December 22 from Petsburch in SM Dasmariñas for our Psychology project. We named them Rain (male) and Shine(female).
Rain's colors were brown, dark brown and white on the underpart while Shine's were pure white. Rain's eyes were dark brown while Shine's were red.

I kept them for a week and made a mistake on taking care of them. As all hamster breeders know, Syrian hamsters shall not be put on the same cage for serious fights might occur including the death of the other. And since I housed them both on the same cage and forgot to give them enough food supply (I thought they would eat the seeds on their floor), Shine killed Rain on the morning of December 28th. It was the most concsiencing part of taking care of a hamster. It was my first time, I didn't know they were Syrians.

Aaron, my lab partner, dropped by at my house to fetch Shine. It was now his turn to keep Shine since I had a "trauma" with what had happened to Rain earlier that morning. And since I had regrets of not taking a photo of Rain while he's still alive, I took photos of Shine before she left my house. I thought that it was the last day I would see her.

Morning of January 4th. I dreamed that Shine would die because it climbed on our bathroom wall. I went to Aaron's place and found out that she was gone. DUE TO BROKEN BONES.

I love Shine and I miss her. Aaron once mentioned that Shine was not tame to others except to me. It's like we had become best friends for a short span of time.

Aaron bought another hamster, this time a Siberian hamster. I named it Sky. He was a gray colored hamster with a thin trace of darker gray on his back and had red eyes. Iza, our other lab mate, kept it.

We brought Sky to the school dormitory and everybody enjoyed him. He was very jolly and playful. He loves to socialize with humans (especially with girls) and terribly hates white mice. He will try to kill them every time he sees them. We tried to put it once with Mays's white mice. :))

I keep Sky this weekend. He totally enjoys hanging out with my sister. But not with my parents since my mom absolutely shouts when Sky is near at her (even though a meter far) and Dad's allergic with hamsters and other furry animals, a reason why we don't have pets before.

Hannah Montana-- a.k.a. Miley Stewart

Who would dare not know this new teen singing sensation Hannah Montana? She's the best, in superlatives.
I love all her songs, especially the "Nobody's Perfect". I can very well relate to every single lyric. And the "True Friend", best BFF song ever! I love my best friends, and Hannah explains it all.

For those who live in Mars, here's a little info:
Hannah Montana is an American Emmy Award-nominated children's television series, which debuted on March 24, 2006 on Disney Channel. The series focuses on Miley Stewart, (played by Miley Cyrus), who lives a double life as an average teenage girl at school during the day, and a famous pop singer (Hannah Montana) at night, concealing her real identity from the public, other than her close friends and family.

Production

Michael Poryes, who is credited as co-creator, also co-created the hit Disney Channel Original Series That's So Raven. The show is produced by It's a Laugh Productions, Inc., in association with Disney. It is filmed at Tribune Studios in Hollywood, CA. The series premiere scored record ratings for Disney Channel: 5.4 million viewers, a response "beyond our wildest expectations," according to the president of Disney Channel Entertainment.

The original idea for this show was based on the That's So Raven episode "Goin' Hollywood", which was supposed to be the pilot episode for a sitcom called Better Days, in which a child star of a popular TV show of the same name was to try her hand at going to a normal school. The episode New Kid in School has the basic premise as that afore-mentioned episode. Other names considered for the title were The Secret Life of Zoe Stewart (discarded as too similar to Zoey 101 on Nickelodeon), The Popstar Life!, and Alexis Texas. Former American Juniors finalist Jordan McCoy and pop and R&B singer JoJo (who rejected the role) were considered for the role of Zoe Stewart. Miley Cyrus originally auditioned for the role of the "best friend" Lilly Romero, later changed to Lilly Truscott, but they thought she would be better for the main character, so she tried out for Zoe Stewart/Hannah Montana. Zoe Stewart was later changed to Chloe Stewart, which was eventually changed to Miley when she got the part. The names of Hannah Montana were changed a few times. Three of the previous names were Anna Cabana, Samantha York, and Alexis Texas.

In December 2006, Disney announced plans to release Hannah Montana products, including: clothing, jewelery, apparel, and dolls, at select stores. ^[5] Play Along Toys has released the Hannah and Miley dolls and other merchandise. Hannah Montana is signed for at least one more season according to Disney Channel. Filming for the second season started in December. Popularity

In addition to the high ratings of the TV series, concerts for Hannah Montana have also been exceedingly popular. Tickets for every concert sell out, with some later being scalped for thousands of dollars. The shows attract much attention, with an example being the attendance of Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich who later admitted to having watched every episode.

Opening sequence

The theme song for Hannah Montana is "The Best of Both Worlds" written by Matthew Gerrard and Robbie Nevil, produced by Gerrard and performed by Miley Cyrus (as Hannah Montana). John Carta, who also composes the music cues to signify scene changes and commercial breaks, composed the music for the song. The song's lyrics describe the basic premise of the television series.

The full-length version, which is 2 minutes, 54 seconds in length, was included on the show's soundtrack, released in October 2006. For the TV version of the theme, which lasts only 50 seconds, only stanzas one and two and stanzas seven and eight were used.

"Just Like You" and "The Other Side of Me" were originally tested for the opening theme song, before "Best of Both Worlds" was chosen as the theme. Stage and features episode clips of each cast member when each cast member's name appears. Each cast member's name is "wiped" on the screen in a marquee-light-style. The sequence then switches to full-screen episode clips (most of the clips used in the Season One version of the sequence were of the early produced episodes) with the creator's names appearing in the second-to-last clip. The show's title logo design appears at the beginning, and again at the end, of the sequence (the latter portion as with most other portions of the sequence on the "concert stage" feature Cyrus as her character Hannah Montana).

Lawsuit

On 2007-08-23, Buddy Sheffield, a comedy writer who wrote for The Smothers Brothers Show, The Dolly Parton Show and In Living Color, sued Disney over Hannah Montana alleging that he originally came up with the idea for Hannah Montana but was never compensated by Disney. The lawsuit claims breach of contract, breach of confidence, unfair competition and unjust enrichment. In the lawsuit, Sheffield claims that he pitched an idea for a TV series with the name of "Rock and Roland" to Disney Channel in 2001 with the plot of a junior high student who lived a secret double life as a rock star. The lawsuit claims that Disney Channel executives at first liked the idea but passed on the series. Sheffield claims that he deserves a share of the revenue generated by Hannah Montana.^[9]

Destiny Hope "Miley" Cyrus (born November 23, 1992) is an American actress, singer and songwriter. She is best known for starring as Miley Stewart/Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel Original Series, Hannah Montana.

Cyrus became an overnight sensation after she was cast in Hannah Montana. Following the success of the show, in October 2006, a soundtrack CD was released in which she sang eight songs from the show. In December 2007, she was ranked #17 in the list of Forbes Top twenty earners under 25 with an annual earning of US$3.5 million. As of December 2007, she is working on a movie spin-off from Hannah Montana, titled Hannah Montana: The Movie which is due to be released late 2008 or early 2009.

Early life

Born in Franklin,Tennessee, Miley Cyrus attended Heritage Middle School, but now has a private tutor. She grew up on her parents' farm outside of Nashville. Cyrus is the daughter of country singer Billy Ray Cyrus and Leticia "Tish" Cyrus, and the granddaughter of the late Ron Cyrus and Ruth Ann Cyrus. She has two elder half-brothers, Christopher Cody and Trace, the latter being the vocalist and guitarist of an electronic rock band, Metro Station in California. She also has an elder half-sister, Brandi, a younger brother, Braison, and a younger sister, Noah, who is also an actress. She was named Destiny Hope because her parents believed that she would accomplish great things. Cyrus gained her nickname "Miley" because she kept smiling ("Smiley") as a youngster. In an interview with USA Today, Cyrus was quoted as saying her faith is "the main thing" and is the reason why she works in Hollywood. When interviewed by Parade, she added that she attends church regularly with her family. She also has many pets, including horses, dogs, cats, fish and chickens.

Career

Cyrus became interested in acting at age nine when the family briefly lived in Toronto, Canada. Her first acting role was as a guest star on her father's television series Doc, in which she played a girl named Kylie. In 2003, she played "Young Ruthie" in Tim Burton's Big Fish and was credited as Destiny Cyrus. She was also featured in Rhonda Vincent's music video for "If Heartaches Have Wings", and appeared on Colgate Country Showdown with her father, who was hosting the program.

Cyrus was eleven years old when she originally auditioned for Disney for the lead as well as the "best friend" roles; Disney Channel executives then judged her to be "too small", however Miley was persistent in her desire to be part of the show, so Disney called her back for further auditions when she turned 12. According to Disney Channel Executive Vice President Gary Marsh, Cyrus was chosen for Hannah Montana because of her energetic and lively performance and was seen as a person who "loves every minute of life", with the "everyday relatability of Hilary Duff and the stage presence of Shania Twain". She spent several years to get rid of her Southern accent, but in the end Disney wanted her to revive it. In 2004, Cyrus became a spokesperson for Daisy Rock Guitars, when she was presented with her first Daisy Rock guitar— the Stardust Series Acoustic Electric Pink Sparkle. It was given to her by her parents from her father's Country Music Television fan meet-and-greet when she was twelve years old.

On June 22, 2006, a performance of a Hannah Montana concert (featuring Cyrus as Hannah Montana) at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon in Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida was recorded for the Disney Channel. Cyrus spent the rest of 2006 opening for The Cheetah Girls on 20 dates of their 39-city tour. Cyrus also appeared in the Disney Channel Hannah Montana promotion, "Hannah Montana's Backstage Secrets", in which she portrays Hannah Montana in a fictional interview set in the show's canon.

Walt Disney Records released the Hannah Montana soundtrack on October 24, 2006. The soundtrack included eight of the songs that Cyrus performed as Hannah Montana. Cyrus also signed a four-album major record deal with Hollywood Records for her own albums. On June 26, 2007, exactly eight months after the release of the first soundtrack, Cyrus released a double album, Hannah Montana 2: Meet Miley Cyrus. The first disc served as the second Hannah Montana soundtrack, while the second disc was Cyrus' debut album as herself. She co-wrote, eight of the ten songs and was credited as "Destiny Hope Cyrus". Cyrus had a brief cameo in High School Musical 2 credited as "Girl at Pool", where she danced in front of the pool wearing a yellow baby doll top before the end credits.

While attending the Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix premiere, Cyrus stated that they are working on ideas for a Hannah Montana movie. The feature-length film is to be produced by Cyrus's both on and off-screen dad, Billy Ray Cyrus.

Disney released a Hannah Montana clothing collection in late summer. Cyrus helped to design some of the pieces from the collection. "It's not a costume. A tween girl isn't doing dress-up, they want to look like they could be Hannah Montana's friend. This is a fashion line."

Cyrus is performing both as herself and in character as Hannah Montana on a North American Best of Both Worlds Tour that started on October 18, 2007 in St. Louis, Missouri; the tour was extended, due to high demand, until January 31, 2008, with 69 total dates, 14 more than previously planned. The Jonas Brothers are the opening act for most of the tour. Tour tickets for each date have been selling out in record time after they have gone on sale, disappointing large numbers of fans.

In 2007, Cyrus guest-starred as Yatta on Disney Channel's The Emperor's New School. In December 2007, she was ranked at #17 in the Forbes Top 20 Earners Under 25, with an annual earning of US$3.5 million.

Pregnancy rumor hoax

On September 24, 2007, rumors began circulating that Cyrus was pregnant. The cause of the rumor was an image of a page of J-14 Magazine circulating on the Internet entitled "Miley's Meltdown" and saying among other things "Miley herself confirmed the pregnancy rumors during a J-14 interview". J-14 immediately responded saying that, "Someone doctored the "This Just In" article that appeared on page 16 of J-14's July 2007 issue" and that "this story is completely fabricated!" The real story on J-14's Page 16 magazine was about 'Miley's Gross Habits' told by her co-stars on the set of Hannah Montana.

Personal life

Cyrus is good friends with fellow Hannah Montana co-stars Emily Osment and Mitchel Musso, often texting and conference calling each other during busy days. Miley Cyrus also taught Emily Osment how to play the guitar and Osment taught Cyrus how to knit. She is also friends with the stars of the highly successful TV movie High School Musical, including Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody stars including Brenda Song. In an appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show, she stated that she looks up to Hilary Duff as her role model.

I first saw McAdams in the silver screen when I watched "The Notebook", wherein she portrays as Allie Hamilton, a rich, so-called perfect girl who spent a summer vacation with her parents in the country side, where she met a man, Noah Calhoun, whom she loved, and loved her as well, but their love was forbidden due to he is living a life so far from what Allie's parents dreamed for her. Years later, though many changes and conflicts occurred, they became together forever. :x Though Allie suffered from Alzheimer's when they were old.. :(

Got intrigued with the book version, I read it after a while. Thanks to my bookworm teacher who let me borrowed hers. [Love you, Teacher Allin ;) ]

I really love "The Notebook", both the novel and the movie.

I was mesmerized with her aura, she was beautiful when she portrayed "The Notebook", she's very suitable for Allie.

Early life
McAdams was born in London, Ontario and grew up in nearby St. Thomas. Her father, Lance, is a truck driver, and her mother, Sandra, is a nurse. She has a younger brother, Daniel, and a younger sister, Kayleen. She took up competitive figure skating at the age of four and acting at age thirteen at a summer theatre camp in London, Ontario named Original Kids. When the company extended to a year-round company, she was invited to continue with them. She attended the publicly-funded secondary school Central Elgin Collegiate Institute in St. Thomas from grade nine to OAC and starred in the Gay-Award-winning student production I Live in a Little Town. Career

Rachel McAdams had a large role in the film The Hot Chick, alongside Rob Schneider, but her career really took off when she starred as Regina George, the "queen-bee" in 2004's Mean Girls. McAdams was told to partly model the character of Regina George after Alec Baldwin's performance in Glengarry Glen Ross (1992). McAdams had previously appeared in the Canadian television series Slings and Arrows, alongside Paul Gross. She played a main role in the first season, but due to her rising stardom was written out of the second season, appearing in only the first episode. She followed Mean Girls with the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel The Notebook, alongside Ryan Gosling, with whom she would later begin an off-screen romance. They broke up in 2007.

In 2005, she played Owen Wilson's love interest in Wedding Crashers and then starred in the suspense thriller Red Eye as Lisa Reisert. 2001-2004 career development

Hathaway made her film debut in the Garry Marshall-directed The Princess Diaries (2001). It was generally well received by critics.

Hathaway starred in Get Real for one season, after which it was cancelled. Hathaway's next film was The Devil Wears Prada (2006), in which she starred as an assistant to a powerful fashion magazine editor (Meryl Streep, whom she described as being "just divine").^[7] Hathaway said that working on the film earned her respect in the fashion industry, but she claims that her personal style is something she "can't get right"^[13] and instead prefers "doing the things she loves".

November 23.
I went to my former school (Immaculate Conception Academy) to visit my best friend, Anne, who was about to celebrate her birthday party the day after, and also my other best friends, Gemarie and Hyacinth.

I entered the campus and waited for someone to approach me (Kinda hoping it was them). Gemarie first came on to me to ask who I was looking for. I answered, "Kayo nina Anne". She just went upstairs so I followed her, I think everything sailed smoothly.

I was in the second floor and it was exactly the same time when their teacher dismissed them. Anne ran off outside to greet me, and so as Hyacinth. But Hyacinth immediately set off with Gemarie, which was way peculiar.

I asked Anne about the matter, because a month ago, they had a fight, which I thought was already solved; which Anne said it wasn't.

Anne said that her days there became bad. The two were always siding against her, oftentimes she was left behind, which was supposed to be not, what's the use of having a so-called best friend? With a simple fight, all of their cherishable precious moments will come to nothing? Such narrow heads.

The next thing I knew about them (which was today), they acted as if I'm one of their enemies too, and even deleted me, Iza, Anne and Angelica (part of the best friendship too) on their featured friends in Friendster for such reason.

Maybe I am overreacting, but I want to make things crystal clear, I'm open for their explanation.

Farewell, Teacher Loie!

On a sunny Monday morning in July, Teacher Edmar had left SIS to pursue his career, but on that same day, another teacher was replaced whose name is Mr. Loie Deguit. He seemed kind and serious.

He then became our Values Education and Social Studies teacher, which was Teacher Ed before. Times had passed and I discovered a lot of things about him. He is considerate and patient. He accepts late works though it's not permitted in order for us, students, to not have low grades. He is funny, and every time he jokes, I laugh, though I'm not in the mood.

I also learned a lot from him.
Every night, we used to have devotion, and he taught us a lot about God. He explained every question about God that we ask. He also gave us some quotes from him.

"Students, make your life as perfect as possible; you will pass this life but once."

He used to tell us that we cannot be perfect, but we can at least be close to perfection. He told us that God always sees us from afar and guiding us, we should always make Him happy.

"God always gives beautiful days, it's up to us if we'll consider it a good or bad."

He said that to us during my considered "happiest day". I used to treat my days in SIS as 99.9% sad and .1% happy, but when he said that, I realized that he's right and I have to consider every day of my life as good.

"God loves sinners, but he hates sins."

He said that to us during our last devotion. He said that no matter what happens, God still loves us and we should always ask for His forgiveness.

To our dearest Teacher Loie, goodluck and God bless! You can bet that I will take your messages seriously, and I'll try to change my NOISINESS.

I'M NOT DOING NOTHING!!!

It's redundant and I know it. It has been a favorite grammatically wrong mistake (also redundant) in SIS. I don't know where it came from, but I think the second years are the ones who made that fabulously famous.

Well, I shall do a lot of resolutions since it's finally semestral break. Here are some:
1. Learn how to write straight in bondpaper.
2. Earn 1,000,000 NP in neopets.
3. Open communication lines to long time no communication friends.
4. Make new friends in the web.
5. Buy a new diary.
6. Have cellphone pictures developed.
7. Enhance drawing skills.
8. Make 7 essays/short stories.
9. Study copyreading.
10. Find out the difference of editorial writing and essay.
11. Finish three books.
12. Score 50+ in star spell.
13. Gain enthusiast in Mathematics again.
14. Finish Genesis, book in the Bible.
15. MAKE LIFE ORGANIZED!!!

These are just some. Others are private. Haha.
Whoa. I love vacations.

Anyway, I hope I'll enjoy this semestral break. It'll end on the 5th of November.

Awhile ago, I was surfing the net and trying to find a source wherein I can learn different dialects and languages all over the world.

Then I found this site: http://www.bohol.ph/calderon.php ,which contains English-Spanish-Filipino Dictionary. I got really curious to learn about it, and as of now, I have discovered that faith's translation in Spanish is fe or creencia. It's pananampalataya in Filipino, of course I know that. :)

Wednesday Madness!

So this is my first time to make a post during Wednesday. I am now here in an internet cafe and is renting a computer for half an hour.

Yeah, so I have nothing to post. Just wanted to update this somehow.
I am sick now due to the contagious illness of the community where I am staying , but I guess I'm a bit OK now...

What have I got to say?!
I don't have a crush on my crush before. The one whom I wrote a love letter. Yeah, no more. :)
Finally moved on. I do have a crush now-- a Korean. Can you believe?! Even though I don't like foreigners, I do have a crush on one of them now.

The factors that made me like him are...
...He's really good at Mathematics (unlike me). Imagine, he can multiply a three digit number by another three digit number.

... He's so funny and everything. Fun to be with, I must say.

Yes, it is due to my staying in Shim International School. I am living the 5 days of my week in a dorm in that institution, which is located in Olivares, Tagaytay.

...this week, I have been included in our newly-built choir in our school. I sing alto there and I love to be alto! Hallelujah!

Yesterday, we had a Parent-Teacher Conference (PTC). This is where our rankings and grades were announced--yes, to the parents and to us, even us didn't know what our rankings and grades were!

The rankings were announced at the auditorium. I have had a ranking. Wow, UNBELIEVABLE! I didn't study, really.

Farewell to Dear Friends

Ok, so here goes my first post:

Today, when I was about to get up, I realized that it is now the day wherein my newly-known Korean friends are about to return from where they belong-- South Korea.

Last night, we had our farewell party in the auditorium. There were intermission numbers, audiovisual shows, food, picture takings and most of all, sad goodbyes.

Almost all of us cried and hugged each other. Even those who were not close are hugging and crying for each other. Last night, we forgot about how different we are, we disregarded our races and didn't mind what others thought. For us, it was the last night wherein we can rejoice with each other, so we did it to the highest level.

It was the Camp Eng-Land of South Korea who visited us to learn English. In one month, we had our evening friendship classes for us to know each other and had activities which made us even closer.

Evening Friendship Classes: Ate Sol, Lusia(Korean), Geraldine

Some Filipinos had crushes on the Koreans and vice-versa. I am sure that if Camp Eng-Land will stay a little bit longer, their relationships will get deeper.

Even I, who personally hate other nationalities for I think that they will just discriminate us Filipinos, have set aside that and made friends with them and cried for their leave.

It was not only the camp Eng-Land who made me sad for their farewell but also Alice who is Mrs. Park's daughter. She is a Korean whom I loathed before. She keeps on calling me "Chun Ma", which means "manang" when translated in Filipino.

When I have learned that she will also leave because she will now go to Canada, I was happy since I don't want others calling me differently especially if it is some form of insult.

But last night, when I saw her crying and hugging other Filipinos and Koreans and suddenly approached me and waved goodbye, I did not control myself, I hugged her for some reason.

Maybe that reason is I have already considered her as a friend.

Maybe I'm stupid if I don't admit that.

So this post is for the Camp Eng-Land and also to Alice who wants her name to be pronounced as "Elice" and to whom I have considered a friend
